Terms of Service

Last updated: November 5, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Transkrio API and website (the "Service"), operated by Ricardo Ruiz, Paraguay ("we", "us"). By creating an API key or using the Service you agree to them.

1. The Service

Transkrio provides an API that returns transcripts and metadata of publicly available online videos. Access requires an API key. We may change, improve or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

2. Accounts and API keys

3. Credits, plans and payment

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes; infringe the rights of content owners; try to circumvent rate limits, credit accounting or security; resell raw access to the API as a competing transcript service; or overload the Service. You are responsible for how you use the transcripts you obtain, including compliance with copyright and the terms of the platforms where the videos are hosted.

5. Availability

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is", without warranties. Third-party platforms may change or block access to content at any time, which can make some videos temporarily unavailable.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

7. Suspension

We may suspend keys that violate these terms or put the Service at risk. Where possible we will contact you first.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page at least 14 days before they take effect.
